Kindergarten Promotion and Eighth-Grade Graduation Pictures

Graduation programs are coordinated with the school and can include formal portraits, caps and gowns, multiple poses, and composites.

Quick answer: The school determines the graduation or promotion schedule, attire, cap-and-gown setup, and products. Van Gogh photographs the approved poses and provides the event’s ordering options.

What the program may include

  • Kindergarten promotion portraits
  • Eighth-grade graduation portraits
  • Cap-and-gown or formal attire provided or approved by the school
  • Multiple individual poses and event-specific backgrounds
  • Class, grade, or graduation composites
  • Print packages, digital downloads, announcements, or other event products

Attire and appearance

Follow the school’s instructions for clothing under the gown, uniform requirements, jewelry, hair, and any provided graduation items. The school controls whether caps, gowns, diplomas, flowers, or props are used.

Ordering

The event may use prepay ordering or a private gallery after the portraits are available. Verify the graduate’s name, school, and pose before purchasing. A composite or class product may be produced and delivered later than the individual package.

Absences and retakes

Graduation makeup opportunities depend on the school calendar and availability of the same attire and setup. Contact the school immediately after an absence. Another session is not guaranteed.

Name and school corrections

Report incorrect spelling, class information, or composite information promptly. Graduation products can have fixed design deadlines.

Important: Do not assume a Fall or Spring Online Code opens the graduation gallery. Graduation is usually a separate photo event with its own access and ordering window.
