How Free Shipping Works in the Van Gogh Gallery
Qualifying galleries apply free shipping automatically when the eligible product subtotal reaches the displayed threshold.
Quick answer: When a gallery offers a free-shipping threshold, the cart applies it automatically after the eligible product subtotal reaches the amount displayed. A code may not be required.
How the threshold is calculated
The gallery normally measures the eligible product subtotal before shipping and tax. The current cart displays progress toward the threshold and confirms when free shipping has been applied.
Why the cart may not qualify
- The product subtotal is below the required amount.
- A discount reduced the qualifying subtotal.
- The offer applies only to certain products, galleries, dates, or delivery methods.
- Children are in separate carts, so their subtotals cannot be combined.
- The promotion ended before checkout was completed.
- The order uses school delivery or another method not included in the offer.
No code is shown
An automatic free-shipping offer does not need a promo code. Add the qualifying products and review the shipping line in the final cart. When a code is required, the school or Van Gogh communication will provide it.
Before completing payment
Make sure the shipping charge has changed in the final order summary. A banner or progress message alone is not the final calculation.
Important: Free-shipping offers are event-specific. A threshold available in one child’s gallery may not be available in another school, program, or late-order gallery.
