Spring School Pictures

Understand Spring portraits and how proof and prepay ordering work before and after Picture Day.

Quick answer: Spring portraits often emphasize personality, casual posing, background choice, sibling opportunities, and keepsakes. The school’s current event determines whether families use proof ordering or prepay ordering.

How Spring can differ from Fall

  • The portrait may be more casual or expressive.
  • The event may offer multiple poses or background choices.
  • Sibling portraits may be available at participating schools.
  • Gift and keepsake products may be emphasized.
  • The Spring image may not replace the school’s Fall yearbook or ID image.

Proof Spring events

At a proof school:

  • No prepay code is needed.
  • Families do not order before Picture Day.
  • After images are prepared, families receive an emailed private gallery link, a physical proof brought home by the student, or the school’s approved combination.
  • Families view the photographs before choosing products.

Prepay Spring events

At a prepay school:

  • Families may order before Picture Day using the school’s current prepay code or keyword.
  • The final portrait is not visible before photography.
  • Once the images are online after Picture Day, the student also receives a private gallery and private Online Code.
  • Families may still order after Picture Day, but a shipping charge applies.

Sibling portraits

Sibling photos are not automatic at every Spring event. The school must schedule and communicate the opportunity. A sibling group may receive a separate gallery or code.

Delivery and deadlines

Spring ordering windows, proof-delivery methods, school delivery, home shipping, promotions, and gallery deadlines vary by school. Review the current event and cart rather than relying on a previous season.
