How Sibling Pictures Work
Sibling portraits are offered only at participating events and must follow the school’s schedule and student instructions.
Quick answer: Check the school’s Picture Day communication. Sibling portraits are available only when the school and event have specifically scheduled them.
Where sibling photos are commonly offered
Sibling portraits may be included in a Spring, preschool, private-school, special-event, or other selected program. They are not automatically part of every Fall, Graduation, or Sports Picture Day.
Before Picture Day
- Confirm that the school is offering sibling photos.
- Follow any registration, form, prepay, or time-window instructions.
- Make sure all participating siblings attend the same approved session.
- Tell the school when siblings are in different classrooms, buildings, or schedules.
- Follow the school’s rules for non-enrolled younger siblings or older siblings.
Ordering sibling images
A sibling group may have its own gallery, code, or product category. An individual-student package does not automatically include a sibling portrait. Review the subject shown in every product before checkout.
If a sibling portrait was missed
Contact the school to determine whether the students can attend a scheduled makeup session. Van Gogh cannot guarantee a sibling retake when the school does not offer another opportunity or the students cannot be brought together.
Important: Do not use one child’s individual Online Code to assume the sibling group will appear. Sibling images may be stored as a separate subject or event.
