How to Change or Cancel an Order
Contact Van Gogh immediately because image, address, product, and cancellation changes become limited after production begins.
Quick answer: Submit a support request as soon as you notice the issue. Changes are most likely before the order has been released to production.
Changes that may be possible before release
- Pose or image selection
- Background selection
- Crop or zoom
- Black-and-white or another image option
- Shipping or billing address
- Personalized text
- Customer email address
After production begins
Once an order has been released, printed, shipped, or delivered, the original order usually cannot be edited. Van Gogh may instead correct the issue through a replacement or reprint when appropriate.
Cancellation requests
Cancellation eligibility depends on the order’s current status and the products included. Digital files, retouched images, personalized products, class products, and specialty items may enter fulfillment quickly or use event-specific production steps. Customer Support will review the request rather than assuming every order can be stopped.
What to do immediately
- Do not place a second order unless Customer Support tells you to do so.
- Submit the order number and the exact requested change.
- Include the correct image, background, address, or text.
- Keep the original order confirmation until the request is resolved.
Important: A message sent after production or shipment does not guarantee that the order can be changed or canceled. The earlier Van Gogh receives complete information, the better the chance of correcting it before release.
